Long distance planning and LDR relationship works with the help of Elite Memoirs Team

Weddings..... A once in a lifetime experience that every woman has envisioned their dream wedding. As a little girl i've always pictured my wedding to be held in a church and walk in the aisle. Late 2016, Me and my partner decided to tie a knot and make it official as husband and wife. after the bried glimmer of joy I felt however, I was faced with the looming stress of planning our wedding alone because my partner was in the United States that time a long Distance Relationship "LDR".

Indeed, the undertaking of this herculian task proved to be too much for me. it was at this time i started looking for solutions. Thankfully we live in an age of technology and innovation which led me to search online. However, it was still a difficult task since im aware that there are a lot of scams that prey on your hard earned money. In my arduous search for the wedding planner, I stumbled upon Elite Memoirs and instantly fell inlove with their services and work they offered. I had my doubts since they are located in Quezon City Manila while I live in Imus, Cavite " oh diba? Long Distance Relationship to Long Distance Coordinator". I dint know how we would be able to pull it off but i decided to take a leap of faith and contacted Ms. Ehlle. I was immediately accomodated and needless to say it was the best decision as they were able to give me the wedding i've dremed. Elite Memoirs was able to pull of everything fabulously down to the very detail.

Thankyou Ms. Ehlle for the unlimited answers to my questions and assisting to my needs. Pinadali nyo po ang plannings ko since nasa ibang bansa si hubby hindi nyo po ako pinabayaan mag isa..

My tips for soon to be Mr& Mrs

you should budget your money and manage it well.. "kung ano lang ang meron kayo at kung ano lang kaya nyo wag na kayo umutang"

make your checklist "kung ano lang importante un lang ang ilagay sa checklist"

make your guestlist "invite your family, relatives and close friends.. the more guest the more money that you need to spend"

check your suppliers and ask for contract

always pray to God and ask for his guidance.....

Congrats in Advance...

Events Called Off

“Events called off”

Just for these three words affects deep down inside me and worries me for consecutive nights now.

Our clients were worried, stressed and trying to match our available schedule in rescheduling and moving their seminars, meetings, photoshoot and main events.

Our staffs who works years on us for to feed their family and support their bills. What would be their primary other source of income when they render services such as Captain waiters, waiters, stylist, driving, warehouse keeping, wardrobe keeping and related fields?

Our suppliers who are expected to deliver goods and finish lots of lined up suppliers were called off too.

This not a simple delay. One week is reasonable but one month traffic is a bit much. And there are mixed emotions and heavy heart for me to keep deciding on what to do and how to arrange them properly. Accounting has become complicated. Expectations were replaced with disappointment and resent.

As much as I can, I’m trying to keep it cool though I can’t pretend how sad I was on this crisis.

I am concern in my health too. And we are much concerned for everybody and to all the people of the world. It might slow down my time to ponder and have a great organisation at home to maximise my motherhood and being a wife, but it would worry me everyday updating on what’s going on on our logistics and supplies.

I knew that my clients have a wide understanding to this. I trust all the staffs and suppliers who are bearing with us to understand that this is not over. I’m looking forward to my faith that things will go back to normal and pursue everything we have worked hard for.

Yes it is true that it saddened us.

But it is also true that in the past years of our busiest season. There is our desires to stop for some weeks and focus in ur homes, do the chores, touch our house and organise our kids personally. That time comes in a snap. All the whisper of “π‘ π‘Žπ‘›π‘Ž π‘šπ‘Žπ‘π‘Žπ‘›π‘π‘’π‘™ π‘šπ‘’π‘›π‘Ž π‘™π‘Žβ„Žπ‘Žπ‘‘ π‘π‘Žπ‘Ÿπ‘Ž π‘šπ‘Žπ‘˜π‘Žπ‘π‘Žπ‘”π‘π‘Žβ„Žπ‘–π‘›π‘”π‘Ž..." came in one day!

There will be unanswered questions and most pending information to wait for, but the moment of keeping silent in our home and own small community and the peace of following safety precautions to keep us all safe is priceless...

Let us value the time left to us and enjoy all the moments given to reunite the bond of our home. With the resources that is naturally and currently blessed to us, we may be able to surpass this issue. May we all appreciate the life and health that hold at this moment and ask God to heal all possible wounds brought by the virus.

And with a hopeful heart: Let’s keep spreading LOVE and pray to all who are going through a lot harder than us.

Chef Robert Tibunsay’s Ideas on Event’s Food Preparation
As a Chef, Food is essential in every celebration we attend in. So here the tips on how we plan our sumptuous foods. Plan a Catered Event Menu That Will Impress Your Guests. As a Head Chef in 11 years of experience and holding a degree of Culinary Arts I have written and collected ideas as follows:
9 Steps That Will Ensure the Meal Is a Hit and Not a FlopBy Rob Hard
When planning the food and beverage for any event, it's important to consider the not-so-obvious items to help ensure a successful program and delicious meal. Catered events are often known to provide sub-par food at best and inedible food at worst. Don't fall victim to less-than-stellar event food. The following nine steps to catering coordination and menu planning will ensure that your event stands out among the typical catered event meals.
 Know Your Guest Profile
What is the profile of the guests being invited to the event? For example, most business people attend many events throughout the year, and the phrase "rubber chicken circuit" is common among political, business, and fundraising circles. To prevent your event from meeting this unflattering description, consider the following:
• The professional level of your guests
• The frequency your guests attend similar events
• The location where guests reside
• The ethnic background of your guests
 Know Your Guest Preferences
By taking the opportunity to understand the general profile of your guest list, the event planner is better prepared to begin considering what menu options to offer. The following may help you better plan to meet their needs:
• Older groups of attendees may prefer a milder menu.
• Attendees concerned about health and fitness may prefer more seafood and vegetarian options.
• Younger or middle-aged attendees may prefer spicier or simply more adventurous meals.
The idea here is to consider what your guests will enjoy the most based on the type of event you are planning.
 Provide Menu Choices
While you may do your best to anticipate your guests' food preferences, you will never be able to please everyone with one entrΓ©e. Event planners should always plan to offer several entrΓ©e or menu choices to ensure that all guests will be pleased with their meal. Some general guidelines to consider:
• Offer at least two choices of entrΓ©es (three is even better).
• Offer three or more salad dressing options for salad courses.
• Serve all condiments on the side.
• Offer two dessert options: one very indulgent, one healthy.
 Anticipate Special Needs

Today, there are more dietary preferences and concerns to consider than ever before. Before any event, it is critical for an event planner to find out if any of the guests have a special dietary need so that the catering manager can address those needs prior to the event. Special dietary considerations may include:
• Food allergies (such as lactose intolerance, nut allergies, etc.)
• Food Intolerances (such as Celiacs)
• Religious requirements (such as Kosher observance, Muslims)
• Voluntary dietary restrictions (such as vegetarianism or veganism)
Incorporate Seasonal and Fresh Items
When selecting the menu, the time of year should play a large factor in determining food and beverage. Take into consideration which items are in season for spring or winter menus. Another important factor is to consider the region or location of the event and popular food items from the area. Incorporate fresh seafood or regionally grown produce to reflect the locale and ensure some of the freshest ingredients.
Consider Ethnic or Regional Menus
Plan events that have ethnic themes. It allows an event planner and the executive chef to work together to bring region-specific and international foods into your event, which can please guests and help your event stand out. Common ethnic catering includes the following:
• Asian/Chinese/Japanese
• French
• German
• Greek
• Italian
• Mexican
• Middle Eastern
Select a Menu that Fits the Event Schedule
Sometimes the clock will be the greatest guide to determining the menu and meal service for an event. Choose the meal type and menu options that best suit the time you have for the meal. Consider these common event meal examples:
• Box lunches are best if you have 30 minutes or on the go.
• Plated meals usually require at least 1.5 hours.
• Buffets may be completed in about 1 hour.
• Cocktail receptions require a minimum of 1 hour before dinner.
• Working breakfasts or lunches should incorporate menu items that can hold up for longer periods of time without ruining the integrity of the food.
Allow for a Comfortable Room Setup
Choose the appropriate room layout that supports your event objectives and the scheduled meals. If you're serving a meal, the tables will be filled with used dishes and glassware, in addition to binders, notepads, and pens. If you're holding a separate cocktail reception, know that round cocktail tables can only comfortably handle smaller plates and drinks. It's important to choose the best room and table setup and allow space for people to move as needed. Consider these room setup tips:
• Boardroom setup should be for a maximum of 15 guests.
• U-shape and rectangular table layouts promote discussion, but are less accommodating for buffet meals.
• Classroom style is great for a presentation.
• Banquet style promotes small group discussions.
Regardless of the setup, allow for people to spread out. For instance, you might consider setting a 10-personbanquet table for only eight people.
Consider the Final Presentation of Food and Beverage
It is said by the best chefs that we eat with our eyes and our noses before actually tasting the food. Whether it's served plated or buffet, a catered meal should by visually colorful, fragrant, and most importantly appetizing. The presentation of food should make your guests want to eat it. It means linens and decorations that complement the theme of the meal. If it doesn't look good and smell good, your guests will not be happy.

FOOD TASTING
During our quarterly food tasting event we ensure clients to taste our bestseller menu and all participants invited are the ones with confirmed booking or definite reservation and contracts in Elite Memoirs

The Buffet or Meal Etiquette in gatherings

Diary 127 unfolds to public reading:

If you are decided to accept someone’s invitation to attend a special occasion because of the Love and Celebration of Union or any other type of gathering: Please bring with you a bottle of mineral water or a simple snack.

A wedding ceremony will take up to 1:00 and a half hour long and our program formulated for 10 years will take upto 20-30mins before the meal time. Me, as the wedding planner would always hear these words that is very Unethical:
“Tara, mag MCDO nalang tayo..”
“Hindi pa ba Kayo magpapastart ng buffet..”
“Ano b yan gutom na kmi...”
Etch...

As much as you wanted to start eating,,, we, the staffs and planners would skip our breakfast or lunch to rush the wedding preparation or set up. Some couples would disagree to take their initial meals because they are pressured and tense and don’t know how to eat because of their mixed emotions before walking down the isle. The photo and videography team, captain and waiters will also sacrifice a decent meal to serve you right their priceless presentation and obras. So please be considerate. Not all of the couple are well off to afford more than the buffet: sometimes they can’t even add an appetiser on the menu because they were also spending on the transportation of some guests, clothings, souvenirs and more.

Some clients have a full course meal ordered and some would make it very hard to work for a simple budget to suffice the guests needs in food and refreshments... so pls respect their way of making their event as that’s what they can afford to serve to you. We are doing our best to handle the table presentation as presentable as possible and the food to taste good and as fresh as it can be in the best way that our team can provide. Please always bear with the couple and never leave them right after the meal time.

Now for some couple who are planning to get married:
Have an allowance of a table or two for unexpected guests. Wedding is a simple occasion that your friends might be attending with someone they wanted to be with that is really close to their hearts (they can’t really left at home or behind).

The open buffet will always ready to serve your guest until they wanted to have a second round as long as there are food left on the chafing dishes. If you ordered specific amount of food for specific count of guests, you are lucky to take home some leftovers if not all of your invited guests had come or not. And if not all of them are willing to hit up the buffet to eat all the food that is left available.

To our respective Mothers and aunts of the couples: do not ask for leftovers until the waiters is finished serving all the guests. There are clashing of interests and confusion between wedding planners and clients if they have seen captain or waiters packing up the food since the event isn’t over yet. Please respect the agreement between the coors and clients and have some ethics to ask before giving instructions to the staffs.

We are normally gathered on these types of social events to celebrate Love and spread more Love. We hope that aside from dressing up your looks, please be prepared to attend with good social approach to everyone. It is our job to make an occasion worthy of the clients budget and make it a memorable one in all positive ways. From here, we are asking for patience and more positive vibes too!

Thank you,
Ehlle and All From Elite Memoirs Management

A Cum Laude reminisced her debut party with Elite

Dreaming of a debut party you’ve always wanted is different from actually planning it a few months before it come true!! 😊 I always dreamed of having a dance like a princess on my 18th birthday since it was “socially constructed” to be the sweetest of the birthdays, as the girl officially turns into a fine young lady. When I turned 17, and many of my friends started to celebrate their birthdays, both casually and princess-likes, I started to wonder how I’ll make my 18th the most memorable one. Preparing for a debut was challenging. So sharing my own experiences might help. Afterall, ladies make (future) ladies stronger. Making your dream debut depends on the BUDGET that you have. Make sure that it is WISE. You wouldn’t trade a night of glamor with a month or more, starving with your family.  Afterall, your debut will be memorable because of LOVE, not for how much you’ve spent. With the budget on your mind, time to answer the Biggest questions -  WHO, WHERE, and WHEN  - WHO - who are your guests? You should have a list of your Family Members and closest friends you want to share your special day with; WHERE - Where do you wanna spend your birthday? Is it enough for the number of guests you want to invite?; and WHEN - Are you going to hold it exactly on your birthday? Most of you are students probably, and having a birthday on school days might cause a slight problem. So considering the date where everyone’s free is also a must.
I’m celebrating my birthday every November so back then, as early as July, I already made a list of guests - I wasn’t even sure of then yet if it’s really going to happen but thank heavens   I made it because my parents confirmed it to me on August. DO NOT WASTE TIME. There are a lot of debutants or events, some might want to hold the same day as you. So finding a venue should come first. Most event places also offer catering services or recommends event planners so don’t hesitate to ask if they know event planners. They can provide accurate recommendations since they’ve seen how these event planners work. As for me, I was recommended to quite a lot. At that time, my parents doesn’t want to waste time with different coordinators. We we’re looking for a full debut package. You should look for different planning services and compare. Check out the reviews, and gut feel!! πŸ˜… Trusting one team to coordinate your whole debut is a risk but when I looked into Elite Memoirs Event Planning Services, they certainly caught my attention - good reviews, amazing Same Day edits, wide variety of events covered from debut, weddings, formal parties and even kid’s birthday parties. Greatest risk with one event planner is they can make or break your special day so be mindful. Being professional from the first meetings to answering endless questions of what ifs up until the special day and after is what you should look for. It’s okay to ask for discounts or ask to customize the package. You might want to use the budget for souvenirs to other matters, alter your menu to make it budget-friendly. You still have to be hands on even when you have an event planner with you. They are only there TO HELP. Through this, your event planner will come up with ideas that will perfectly match your taste. Back then, I’ve sent lots of references on what I
want - from cakes, set up, buffet table, souvenirs, etc. And Elite Memoirs didn’t disappoint!!! They even suggested more attainable ideas suited for what I want. I hope your special day will be as magical as mine.
It’s a starry night theme. I’m in love with stars!! I’m impressed with the set up, and my debut cake!!!

My package also include everything I wore that night and my mother & sister’s gowns so we definitely felt beautiful.

Roger’s Photography Notes
